Snowy Ride To Work

The snow ramped up, as the evening went by, last night. By the time I left for work, at 5:15 AM, there were about 5 inches of snow on the ground.

I thought that the lights on this fence, along 12th Avenue, were pretty festive. Looked like a good place for a picture, anyway.

I was glad to have the big tires, today. The snow varied from nicely packed and fast, to the grainy junk that feels like riding on a beach. The "beach sand" snow is what this bike really shines in.
